The Internet Map – visualization

Ruslan Enikeev created the Internet Map, which presents the link between websites, how are they connected, how influencial they are (the bigger the circle indicates bigger website traffic).

According to the about section, the Internet map is a photo of the network from the end on 2011, including over 350 000 websites, over 2 mln links, from just under 200 countries.

Furthermore Enikeev used color codes to represent the region of the websites, e.g. Russia, USA, etc.

Additionally, “…clusters on the map are semantically charged, i.e. they join websites together according to their content.”

Check out the map it is great tool. Hope he improves it.
