A lot has changed in publishing in recent years. Technology not only transformed the way we write and read, but also it changed the process of editing. If you are a new writer and you are wondering how to find audince without posting your work online to the whole wide world a good answer is BETA READERS.
There are so many different pages you could find them. And of course there are a lot of people you could choose from, depending on the nature of your work. One of the good thing is that these people offer their help for free and would give you comments, suggestions not only about grammar, but about plot, characters, flow and etc.
Beta readers are commonly used when it comes to fan fiction, although in recent years original writings are also in the range. Depending on the genre of your work you could find a suitable beta.
